Message from the Chief Patron

It is with great pleasure that I address you as the Chief Patron of the Bangladesh School & College in Bahrain. As we witness the remarkable progress of our new campus in A’ali, entirely funded by the Wage Earners’ Welfare Board of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment of the Government of Bangladesh, I am filled with immense hope for the future of our students and our community in Bahrain.

The construction of this new, state-of-the-art campus is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Government of Bangladesh to the education of its children, and indeed, all children residing in Bahrain. We believe that children are our future, and providing them with a high-quality education is not merely an aspiration, but a fundamental duty. This new campus, a result of the generous land donation by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, represents a new chapter for our school and our community.

Since its humble beginnings in 1996 with just six students, the Bangladesh School & College has blossomed into a thriving institution. Our goal is to make this new facility one of the best and most affordable educational options available in Bahrain, offering both the Cambridge (IGCSE) and Dhaka Education Board curricula. We are committed to providing an exceptional academic environment that not only caters to the children of our Bangladeshi expatriates but also welcomes students from all nationalities, fostering a truly diverse and inclusive learning community.

We recognise the immense trust you place in us when you choose our school for your child. Our dedicated academic staff, with their continuous training and focus on integrating the latest technologies, are committed to delivering an engaging and enriching learning experience. Beyond academic excellence, we aim to shape our students into confident, well-rounded, and responsible global citizens who will contribute positively to society, wherever their future endeavours may take them.

Message from the Chairman

Welcome to the website of Bangladesh School Bahrain.

Our school is the only school in the Kingdom of Bahrain that provides education in Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary levels in accordance with the Dhaka Board Curriculum, and also the Cambridge Board IGCSE curriculum. We are thrilled that you are considering to admit your child at our school and you will find the enrollment details on our website.

We recognize that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will have to make in your lives. With this in mind, we have framed a curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of our students and prepare them for higher education through an enjoyable and engaging experience, including a range of extra-curricular activities.

Our teachers receive continuous training and we try to integrate the latest technologies into our curriculum and learning experience. Apart from excelling academically, we focus on ensuring that our students become confident, well rounded and responsible citizens who can contribute to the development of whichever society their career takes them to, whether it is within or outside Bahrain.

We thank the Ministry of Education, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, our parents and teachers, without whose support the school could not operate. We would also like to thank His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Prime Minister and Crown Prince, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for providing the school with a plot of land in A’ali on which we hope to start the construction of our new school building soon.

It is a privilege to re-join Bangladesh School Bahrain as Principal, and to become part of a community that has nurtured generations of confident, capable learners. We remain committed to academic excellence within a diverse and inclusive environment that welcomes students from every nationality and background.

Beyond the classroom, we aim to shape our students into well-rounded, responsible global citizens – young people who face challenges with courage, accept success with humility, and treat others with kindness and compassion.
